Only three contested judicial races occurred in Oregon’s November 4th general election, with two incumbents losing their seats. Most of the state’s judicial races were decided during the primary election on May 20, 2014, since races only advance to the general election if no candidate receives more than 50% of the primary vote.
Of the 67 seats up for election on May 20, only five were contested. The remaining uncontested seats were held by incumbents who were re-elected to new terms.
