Orjiakor Isiogu
Orjiakor Isiogu is a former member of the Michigan Public Service Commission.
Biography
Isiogu's public service experience is extensive. Beginning in 1989, he served as an assistant attorney general for Michigan in their special litigation division. Following that, he was the director of telecommunications for the Michigan Public Service Commission. During this, he was responsible for carrying out Michigan's Children's Protection Registry Act and the Uniform Video Services Local Franchise Act.[1]

Political career
Michigan Public Service Commission (2007 - 2013)
Isiogu served in this position from his appointment in 2007 until his term ended in 2013.[2] In 2013, his position on the commission was filled by Governor Rick Snyder'sappointment of Sally Talberg.[3] From 2007 - 2011, he served as the Chairman of the Commission. During this time, he represented the U.S. Energy Regulators at major international conferences in Africa and Europe.[1] He also organized the Michigan Plug-In Vehicle Preparedness Taskforce who's working "to create a seamless customer experience and acceptance of plug-in electric vehicles (PEVs) in Michigan."[4]
