Onyekwuluje ran for election to the Kentucky Court of Appeals.
Primary: He was defeated in the primary on May 20, 2014, receiving 8.0 percent of the vote. He competed against incumbent Judge Kelly Thompson and Mark H. Flener.

Education
Onyekwuluje received his undergraduate degree from Nebraska Wesleyan University and his J.D. degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law.[3][4]
Career
At the time of his candidacy, Onyekwuluje maintained his own law practice, Osi Onyekwuluje, PLLC, in Bowling Green, Kentucky.[3][4]
