Owen DeVol Cox (1910-1990) was a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Cox was nominated to the Southern District of Texas by President Richard Nixon on October 7, 1970, to a new seat created by 84 Stat. 294; he was confirmed by the Senate on November 25, 1970, and received commission on December 1, 1970. He assumed senior status on March 20, 1981. He served the Southern District of Texas until his death on July 21, 1990.[1] Cox was succeeded in this position by Hayden Head.
