|- We need to ensure Michigan has a balanced budget. While a budget surplus is preferable to deficit spending, this shows that Michiganders are paying an excess of income taxes that could instead be used to benefit a taxpayer’s standard of living, directly in their paychecks.
- Free and fair elections are vital to preserving our constitutional republic. It seems that our fairness has been exploited to a point where we can no longer have complete confidence in our electoral process. Michigan’s voter ID law should be absolute, striking out the provision for an “AFFIDAVIT OF VOTER NOT IN POSSESSION OF PICTURE IDENTIFICATION.” We need to do everything we can to ensure that each eligible voter cast exactly one vote.
- Electing me as your state representative will bring a fresh perspective, passion for this great community... and a little bit of youth.
