Oxnard Measure N was on the ballot as an initiative in Oxnard on November 3, 2020. It was approved.
A “yes” vote supported authorizing early termination of the sales tax established through Measure O in 2008 if street and alley work do not meet the Pavement Condition Index requirement. |
A “no” vote opposed authorizing early termination of the sales tax established through Measure O in 2008 if street and alley work do not meet the Pavement Condition Index requirement, thereby allowing the tax to expire as scheduled on March 31, 2029 unless extended by the city council. |
A simple majority was required for the approval of Measure N.

The ballot title for Measure N was as follows:
“ | Shall initiative ordinance to mandate revisions to Measure O (adopted by Oxnard voters in 2008) to either end Measure O funding early for City services such as fire, emergency response, street paving/pothole repair, youth recreation, after school and anti-gang prevention programs, parks/open space preservation, and senior services if specific pavement standards for city streets and alleys are not met, or extend currently-approved expiration date if pavement standards are met, be adopted? | ” |
