Pam Baugher was a member of the Bakersfield City Board of Education in California, representing Trustee Area 2. She assumed office in 2010. She left office on December 9, 2022.

Baugher ran for re-election to the Bakersfield City Board of Education to represent Trustee Area 2 in California. She lost in the general election on November 8, 2022.

Baugher was first elected to the board on November 2, 2010.[1] She filed to run for re-election in the general election on November 6, 2018, but the election was canceled due to lack of opposition. Baugher won the election by default.[2]

Baugher graduated from Bakersfield College and Fresno State College before starting her teaching career in the Bakersfield City School District. She worked as an elementary school teacher and as a traveling science teacher for over 40 years until she retired in 2009. While serving on the Bakersfield City Board of Education, Baugher has served on the budget committee and as board president. Baugher has also held leadership roles in the California Teachers Association (CTA)-Retired, the Kern Retired Teachers Association and the League of Women Voters.[3][4]

Two seats on the Bakersfield City School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. Trustee Area 2 incumbent Pam Baugher and Trustee Area 4 incumbent Andrae Gonzales ran unopposed and won re-election by default.
