Four of the seven seats on the Thompson School District Board of Education were up for by-district general election on November 3, 2015.[1] The seats of District A incumbent Donna Rice, District C incumbent Denise Montagu, District D incumbent Pam Howard, and District G incumbent Bob Kerrigan were on the ballot.[2]

Rice and Kerrigan did not file to run for re-election in District A, which left the seats open to newcomers. Jeff Swanty defeated Aimie Randall for the District A seat. In District C, incumbent Montagu defeated challenger Vance Hansen. Howard defeated challenger Tomi Grundvig for the District D seat. David Levy won the District G race against Bruce Finger.[3]
