I am a lifelong resident of Saint Paul. I want to make sure we have enough law enforcement, that are roads and sidewalks are maintained, that we don't keep raising taxes, and I want to be a voice for the residents of ward 5. Too many times decisions are already made without getting appropriate input from residents. I am uniquely qualified because of my vast life experiences and my job experience.
  • Crime is always going to be an issue but we need to maintain a full law enforcement staff so that they can tackle the daily challenges.
  • The city must maintain roads and sidewalks that are damaged. Some sidewalks are very dangerous for people to walk on.
  • We must stop raising property taxes constantly. People are being driven out of their homes.
Safety is very important to me. While door knocking in my ward and listening to people on neighborhood social media groups, I know many people are affected by crime. Some people don't feel safe and that is not right. My heart breaks by stories of people who don't even want their kids or grandkids to play outside.
