Pamela Carlos is a magistrate judge of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She assumed office on November 12, 2021.

Biography

Education

Carlos graduated from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in 1986. She obtained her J.D. from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law in 1989, where she was also a member of the school's moot court team.[1]

Professional career

Before her appointment as a federal magistrate judge, Carlos was an assistant district attorney for the Office of the District Attorney of Philadelphia. In 1993, she joined the law firm of Bennett, Bricklin and Saltzburg, LLC, where she worked until 2021.[1]

Judicial career

Eastern District of Pennsylvania

Carlos joined the Eastern District of Pennsylvania as a federal magistrate judge on November 12, 2021.
