Pamela G. Alexander was a Fourth Judicial District judge for Hennepin County, Minnesota. Governor Mark Dayton in 2013 (D) appointed Alexander to replace retired Judge Robert A. Blaeser.[1] Alexander retired in September 2018.[2]

Education

Alexander received her undergraduate degree from Augsburg College and earned her J.D. from the University of Minnesota School of Law.[1]

Career

Before her appointment to the district court bench, Alexander was the president of the Minnesota Council on Crime and Justice. From 1983 to 2008, she served as a municipal and district judge for Hennepin County. She previously worked as an assistant Hennepin County attorney and as a criminal defense attorney with the Legal Rights Center, Inc. She also worked as an adjunct professor at the University of St. Thomas Law School and the William Mitchell College of Law.[1]
