Two of the seven seats on the Duncanville Independent School District board of trustees were up for general election on May 6, 2017. In the race for the Place 4 seat, incumbent Renee McNeely ran unopposed and won another term. Place 5 incumbent Elijah Granger withdrew from the race. Candidates Pamela Grayson, Chad O. Jackson, and Cassandra Phillips ran for his open seat, and Phillips won the election.[1][2]
