Pamela Hill-Veal
Pamela E. Hill-Veal was a judge of the Cook Circuit of Illinois. She was appointed in 2004 and retained in 2012, retiring in December of 2012.[1][2][3]
Education
Hill-Veal is a graduate of the DePaul University College of Law.[1]
Career
Hill-Veal formerly served as an administrative hearing officer for the Chicago Department of Administrative Hearings, a Civil Service Board member of the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, an Assistant Cook County Public Defender and an associate professor at Chicago State University. Prior to her judicial appointment, she worked as a private practice attorney. She joined the circuit court in 2004.[1]
2012 election
Veal was retained on Nov. 6, 2012 with 62.8% of the vote.[4][5]
