Campaign themes

2014

Cousins explained her themes for the 2014 race on her campaign website:

I am results-oriented with a demonstrated ability to manage and solve problems. As a school board member I intend to make student needs my priority, support dollars going directly toward teaching and learning in the classroom. Attract and retain multi-cultural teachers and staff. Make sure achievement gaps are not associated with students’ race, culture and income. Improve school safety programs that incorporate anti-bullying campaigns. I will encourage open and honest dialog up, down and across all district-wide stakeholders which includes students, parents, teachers, administrators, citizens, local businesses and the Board.

I’m Pam Cousins and I need your vote to help me merge tradition with innovation for Calvert County Schools. I’m ready and willing to do the work, but I can’t do it without you. Thank you for your time, your consideration, and your vote to make Calvert County Count!
