Campaign themes

2016

Pollock's campaign website highlighted the following issues:

My Position on Education

Parents are responsible for the education of their children. Parents, teachers, and local school boards make the best decisions about educating our children. I will fight to protect parental authority and parental choice, in order to provide the highest quality education from kindergarten through university.

My Position on Job Creation

Economic prosperity is driven by individuals, not government. I will work to lower the tax burden on families, homeowners, and small businesses. I advocate for a friendly business environment as the way to promote economic prosperity and job growth.

Honoring Our Veterans

I support improving veteran services to the highest standard. Our veterans, who put their lives on the line to defend the freedoms that we enjoy, deserve to be honored and appreciated.

Eliminate Tolling – End Traffic Congestion

I will propose and support legislation to eliminate tolls and free up ALL lanes for ALL drivers during non-rush hours. Hardworking Washington State residents deserve better than the current aggravating daily gridlock.[1]
