Pamela Walsh was chief of staff to former Governor of New Hampshire Maggie Hassan (D). Walsh was appointed as Hassan's chief of staff in January 2013.[1]
Career
Pamela Walsh was a student writer for the Boston Globe from 1992 to 1996, and a reporter for the Concord Monitor from 1996 to 1999. From 1999 to 2003, she was press secretary to then-Governor of New Hampshire Jeanne Shaheen (D). From 2002 to 2004, she served as communications director for the Democratic Party of New Hampshire, and from June to December 2004, she was communications director for 2004 gubernatorial campaign for Democratic candidate John Lynch. From 2004 to 2006, she served as communications director in the office of Governor Lynch, and from 2007 to 2012 she was deputy chief of staff to Gov. Lynch.
Maggie Hassan
Pamela Walsh was campaign manager for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Maggie Hassan's gubernatorial election in 2012 as well as for Hassan's re-election campaign in 2014.[2] In January 2013, Walsh was named chief of staff to Gov. Hassan. According to the official website of the government of New Hampshire, "As Chief of Staff, Walsh will manage Hassan's gubernatorial office and help direct efforts to develop a fiscally responsible balanced budget, implement Hassan's Innovate NH jobs plan, and address New Hampshire's priorities."[1]

In 2013, Walsh was named to the list of Top 500 Influencers in American Politics by Campaigns & Elections Magazine.[2]
