Language on the ballot:
“ | Shall the tax limitation on general ad valorem taxes within Paris Township imposed under Article IX, Sec. 6 of the Michigan Constitution be renewed for said township at 2 mills ($2.00 on each $1,000 of SEV) for the period of 2014 through 2016 inclusive, for township roads and shall the township levy such renewal in millage for such period and purpose, which renewal will raise in the first year of such levy an estimated $60,250?[1][2] | ” |
