St. Charles, Illinois: Bill Parkhurst has been selected to serve as an associate judge of Illinois's 16th Judicial Circuit Court, effective Feb. 21. He was chosen from out of 41 other candidates elected by the circuit judges. He moved to Illinois in 1991 and started a solo practice in Geneva. He currently practices law with the firm of Johnson Westra Broeker Whittaker and Newitt. He has also been recognized for his pro bono work.[2]
