Ballot question

The ballot question was as follows:[1]

To ensure the availability Of and to maintain and enhance essential City services, such as fire protection services among others, shall an ordinance be adopted to enact a four percent (4%) utility users tax indefinitely on electric, natural gas and telecommunications services to raise approximately $398,000.00 annually, and which includes procedures for fair and broad-based application? [2]
