I'm a proud mom of three with deep roots in our community. My children have attended schools in Cypress Village, Portola Springs, and Great Park, and my small business thrives in the Woodbury Town Center.

When our community was faced with a string of robberies, myself and some other residents created a neighborhood watch group.

When my neighbors were faced with a permanent street closure that would cause an evacuation concern in a high risk area, I helped organize meetings with the neighbors and the city and ultimately was able to help keep the street open.

When the neighborhood was faced with outside political influences, I stepped up to mobilize residents to ensure their voices were heard.

Now I’m running to bring our voice to the City Council. I’m proud to be the only nonpartisan, independent candidate for this city council seat, which is intended to be a non-partisan position. I hope I can earn your vote.

  • Public Safety: Expand neighborhood watch programs, strengthen cooperation with law enforcement, and increase community involvement to keep Irvine the safest city in America.
  • Responsible Development- Helping Irvine grow while preserving the character of our city and protecting the open spaces that our residents value.
  • Economic Support: Promote and assist local entrepreneurs and small businesses, the lifeblood of our community.
I am personally passionate about public safety, responsible development, and sustainability. Ensuring that our communities remain safe is a top priority, especially as crime rates fluctuate and our community is a constant target of property crimes. I also believe in thoughtful, responsible development that balances economic growth with preserving the character and quality of life in our neighborhoods. Sustainability is another critical focus — our policies must prioritize long-term environmental stewardship to protect Irvine’s future. Additionally, as a domestic violence survivor and advocate, I am deeply committed to policies that support and empower survivors and strengthen resources for them.
I look up to my parents, who came from nothing and taught me the values of hard work, resilience, and perseverance. They showed me the importance of pushing through adversity, and their example shaped who I am today. I also admire Ruth Bader Ginsburg for her unwavering dedication to women’s rights. While we may not agree on everything, she was a trailblazer whose efforts ensured that women’s rights were protected and recognized.
The most important characteristics for an elected official are integrity, accountability, and strong community engagement. They should have a clear vision, be pragmatic, inclusive, empathetic, and show leadership in decision-making while ensuring transparency and responsibility toward their constituents.
The legacy I would like to leave behind is one of real impact—where I helped make Irvine a safer, more sustainable, and inclusive place for everyone. I want to be remembered as someone who didn’t shy away from tough decisions but always fought for what was best for the community. My goal is to leave a legacy of responsible development, improved public safety, and a deep commitment to the people I serve. Ultimately, I want my legacy to reflect progress, resilience, and a dedication to making a difference for future generations in Irvine.
My favorite book is Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell. The concept of being an outlier resonates deeply with me because, in many ways, I feel like one. The book highlights how unconventional paths and circumstances can lead to extraordinary outcomes, and that idea feels connected to my own journey. It’s a reminder that success isn’t always about following a traditional path but about perseverance, timing, and taking advantage of opportunities that others might overlook.

Financial transparency and government accountability are essential for maintaining public trust. Elected officials must ensure that budgets, expenditures, and decision-making processes are open and accessible to the public. This not only prevents misuse of funds but also allows residents to be informed and engaged in how resources are allocated. Strong oversight and clear communication are key to ensuring that government actions align with the needs and priorities of the community.
