DeeAnn Powell is the superintendent of the Pasadena Independent School District. Powell was appointed superintendent in February 2016. Powell's previous career experience includes working as a history teacher, assistant principal, and principal.[1]
School board
The Pasadena Independent School District Board of Trustees consists of seven members elected to four-year terms. All board members are elected at large by position.[2]
Elections
Members of the board are elected biennially in May to overlapping four-year terms.[2]
Four seats on the board were up for general election on May 3, 2025. The filing deadline for this election was February 14, 2025.
