General: He defeated Veronique Liem in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 52.5 percent of the vote.

Education
Conlin received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1987 and his J.D. degree from the Wayne State University Law School in 1997.[4]

Before returning to school to get his J.D. degree, Conlin worked as a high school English teacher in New York City.[4]
