Pat Phelan is the judge of the 286th District Court in Texas.[1] Phelan was appointed to the court in November 2007 by Governor Rick Perry.[2] He was re-elected in 2014 for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[3]

Phelan received his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University and his J.D. from South Texas College of Law.[2]

Career

Prior to his appointment to the bench, Phelan was the Hockley County attorney and a partner in Phelan and Phelan L.L.P.[2]
