Patrice A. Hinnant
Patrice A. Hinnant was a superior court judge for the 18th Judicial District of the Fifth Division of the Superior Court, serving Guilford County in North Carolina.[1] She was appointed to the court by former Governor Bev Perdue in October 2009 and elected to the court in November 2010.[2] She retired August 31, 2018.[3]
Education
Hinnant received her undergraduate degree from Spelman College and her J.D. from North Carolina Central University.[2]
Career
Before she became a superior court judge, Hinnant served as a district court judge for the 18th Judicial District. She also worked as an attorney in private practice and as an assistant public defender for Greensboro, North Carolina.[2]
