Patricia M. Blevins (b. February 21, 1954) is a former Democratic member of the Delaware State Senate, representing District 7 from 1990 to 2017. She served as the president of the Senate from 2013 to 2017.

Biography

Blevins received a B.A. from Temple University. She is the manager of the nonprofit, Delaware Helpline.

Blevins ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Delaware State Senate District 7. Blevins ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on September 11, 2012 and defeated James Christina in the general election on November 6, 2012.[6][7]

On November 7, 2006, Blevins won re-election to the Delaware State Senate from Delaware's 7th Senate District. Blevins defeated Everson Bullen, Jr. (R). Blevins received 8,835 votes, while Bullen received 3,386 votes.[9] Blevins raised $67,329 for her campaign in 2006; Bullen raised $600.[10]
