Patricia H. Jenkins
Patricia H. Jenkins was a senior judge on the Pennsylvania Superior Court. She was originally appointed an active judge on the court by Governor Tom Corbett in December 2013.[1] She assumed senior status on January 4, 2016, due to mandatory retirement.[2]
Education
Jenkins earned an undergraduate degree in political science from Albright College, a master's in tax law from Villanova University, and a J.D. from Dickinson College.[3]
Career
Jenkins served as a judge on the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas from 1993 until her appointment to the Superior Court in 2013. She was first appointed to the Common Pleas Court in February 1993. She was elected to the court in November 1993. She was retained in 2003 and again in 2013. Prior to becoming a judge, Jenkins served as a solicitor. She also taught paralegal studies at Widener and Villanova universities.[4][5]
2013 election
Jenkins was retained to the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas with 74.4 percent of the vote on November 5, 2013.[6]
