Patricia Hardy
Patricia Hardy (Republican Party) (also known as Pat) was a member of the Texas State Board of Education, representing District 11. She assumed office in 2003. She left office on January 1, 2025.
Hardy (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Texas State Board of Education to represent District 11. She lost in the Republican primary on March 5, 2024.
Biography
Before her retirement in 2017, Hardy had spent five years as the social studies coordinator for the Weatherford Independent School District. Before that, she had spent 30 years teaching world history and geography at a high school in Fort Worth. Hardy has served on the board of the Texas Council for the Social Studies and the executive board of the Texas Social Studies Supervisors Association.[1]

Hardy was first elected to the board in November 2002 and took office in January 2003. She was re-elected in 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2014.
