Incumbent John Alpay did not file to run for re-election to the Trustee Area 3 seat, leaving it open for a newcomer. Candidates Laura Ferguson and Patricia Holloway ran for the seat, and Holloway was elected to the board. The Trustee Area 5 race featured incumbent Gary Pritchard and challenger Jake Vollebregt.
