Horton was a Democratic candidate for Cook County Board of Commissioners in Illinois. Horton lost the primary on March 20, 2018. Horton was a 2015 candidate for Ward 3 of the Chicago, Illinois City Council.
Biography
Patricia Horton lives in Chicago, Illinois. She earned a B.A. in organizational management from North Park University, and a liberal arts degree in applied science at Truman College. Horton’s career experience includes working as a commissioner for Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago, which she was appointed as in 2006. She was a public relations director for Tree of Life Ministries in Portland, Oregon, and Faith Tabernacle Church in Chicago, with the role of organizing workshops. [2]

The city of Chicago, Illinois, held elections for city council on February 24, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was November 24, 2014.[3] In the general election for Ward 3, incumbent Pat Dowell defeated Patricia Horton.[4] Clarence Desmond Clemons was removed from the ballot in December 2014.[5]
