Patricia Jones is the District V representative on the Hobbs Municipal Schools school board in New Mexico. Jones won a new term in the by-district general election on February 7, 2017.

Two of the five seats on the Hobbs Municipal Schools Board of Education were up for by-district general election on February 7, 2017. In their bids for re-election to the board, District I incumbent Peggy Appleton and District V incumbent Patricia Jones ran unopposed and won additional terms.[1][2]

Funding
Candidates in the Hobbs Municipal Schools election did not have to file campaign finance reports. The state only required campaign finance reporting for school districts with an enrollment of 12,000 students or more.[3]
