Patricia Evans Koch is a juvenile judge in the 9th Judicial District, Division E in Rapides Parish, Louisiana. She was elected to this court on October 15, 2005, and became the juvenile judge in January of 2006.[1][2][3][4] She was re-elected in 2014 for a term beginning on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2020.[5][6]

As an unopposed candidate, she was automatically re-elected without appearing on the ballot. [6]

Education

Koch received her B.A. in history from the University of Louisiana - Monroe and her J.D. from Loyola University School of Law in 1991.[2]

Career

Koch worked as a mediator for the Office of Workers' Compensation for three years prior to becoming an administrative law judge for that office. She then joined the 9th Judicial District in February of 1999 as a hearing officer, dealing with child support and domestic violence cases. She was elected as a district court judge in October of 2005.[2][3]
