Patricia Timm was a member of the Nebraska State Board of Education, representing District 5 from 2004 to 2021. Timm was first appointed to the board to fill a vacancy in 2004. She resigned on October 8, 2021, citing health issues.[1]

Biography

Timm's professional experience includes working as a kindergarten teacher and an art teacher. She has also served as a member of the Beatrice Public Schools District Fifteen Board of Education.[1]

Political career

Nebraska State Board of Education (2004-2021)

Timm was first appointed to the board by Gov. Mike Johanns (R) to fill a vacancy. She was elected to a full term in 2006 and re-elected in 2010 and 2014. On January 6, 2017, Timm was elected to a one-year term as the board's president.[2] Timm resigned on October 8, 2021, citing health issues.[1]
