Patrick Kirschman (Democratic Party) was a member of the South Dakota House of Representatives, representing District 15. Kirschman assumed office in 2009. Kirschman left office in 2017.
Kirschman (Democratic Party) ran for election to the South Dakota House of Representatives to represent District 15. Kirschman lost in the Democratic primary on June 5, 2018.
Kirschman previously served in the state House from 2009 to 2017.
Biography
Kirschman earned his B.S. from South Dakota State University, Brookings in 1978. He worked as a baker for Sara Lee Bakery Group from 1980 to 2006. He has also worked for Metz Baking Company as a baker.

The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was March 25, 2014. Incumbents Patrick Kirschman and Karen Soli were unopposed in the Democratic primary. Eric Leggett ran as an independent candidate. Kirschman and Soli defeated Leggett in the general election.[5][6][7]

2012
Kirschman won re-election in the 2012 election for South Dakota House of Representatives District 15. Kirschman and Karen L. Soli defeated former District 15 incumbent Mitch Fargen in the Democratic primary on June 5. No Republican candidates filed for election. Kirschman and Soli were unopposed in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012. Incumbent Jenna Haggar (R) won re-election in District 10.[8][9]
2010
Patrick Kirschman ran for re-election to one of two seats in District 15 of the South Dakota House of Representatives. Also running were fellow Democratic incumbent Martha Vanderlinde and Jenna Haggar (I).[10] Kirschman and Jenna Haggar (I) won election in the November 2 general election.[11]
