As a trustee, I will focus on being “Brilliant at the Basics.” Our children’s education must concentrate on Reading, Writing and Arithmetic to prepare them to compete in the global economy. Not all students will go to college, but all students must be prepared for their future. I will expand vocational education. I will support teachers as they are the key to the success of our children. We must provide a safe and engaging atmosphere to foster learning and growth.
  • Brilliant at the Basics: Our children's education must concentrate on reading writing and arithmetic to provide them with a world-class education that prepares them to compete in a global economy
  • Increase Vocational Education: Not all students will go to college, but all students must be prepared for their future. I will expand vocational education opportunities.
  • Fiscal Responsibility: I will protect taxpayers through sound fiscal policies that ensure our limited resources are spent wisely while improving school facilities.
The education of our children and ensuring that we continue to keep that our main focus. To do so, we must improve on the partnership between our parents, teachers, and children. Poway Unified School District is a terrific school district and that is because of the support and involvement of our parents.

As our schools continue to age, improving the maintenance of our facilities will become increasingly important. Following a responsible fiscal policy will be imperative.
President John Adams helped establish our nation based on self governance and individual responsibility. He strove to be a statesman that look to support the next generation and not focusing on the next election.
