Patrick Cherry
Patrick Cherry was a district court judge for the 54A District Court in Michigan.[1] He was appointed to the court by former Governor William Milliken in 1975 and served as chief judge from 1999 until 2006.[2] Cherry retired on July 13, 2017.[3]
Biography
Cherry received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1966 and his J.D. from Wayne State University in 1969. Prior to his appointment to the court, Cherry served as the chief trial attorney and chief of the criminal division for the Ingham County Prosecutor's Office.[2]
