Patrick H. NeMoyer
Patrick H. NeMoyer was a justice on the fourth department of the New York Supreme Court, Appellate Division. He was appointed to the court by Gov. Andrew Cuomo to fill a vacancy in February 2016.[1] NeMoyer left the New York Supreme Court in 2023.[2]
Previously, he was a justice of the Erie County Supreme Court in the 8th Judicial District of New York. He was elected to this position in 1998 and was re-elected in 2011 for a term that was set to expire in 2025.[3]
Education
NeMoyer received his B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and his J.D. degree from the S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo School of Law.[4][3]
Career
Prior to his judicial career, NeMoyer worked as an Erie County Attorney and a U.S. Attorney for the Western District of New York. He was elected to the Supreme Court in 1998.[3]

NeMoyer was re-elected after running unopposed in the general election on November 8th and was cross-endorsed by the Democrat, Republican and Conservative parties.[5][6]
