Patrick Henry Hayes, Jr. was a judge the Colorado 12th Judicial District. He was appointed to the court in 2015 and served until he retired from the court when he passed away on May 29, 2018.[1]

Hayes, Jr. was retained to the Rio Grande County Court, Colorado with 78.7 percent of the vote on November 4, 2014. [2]

Education
Hayes received his B.B.A. in 1987 from Cameron University and his J.D. from Oklahoma City University in 1994.[3]
Career
Prior to joining the court, Hayes worked as a sole practitioner since 2004. His public service includes performing as a magistrate in Creede, Colorado and chief deputy district attorney in the Colorado 12th Judicial District.[3] He was the judge of the Rio Grande County Court in Colorado prior to his appointment to the district court.[3]
