Patrick Malloy (Idaho)
Patrick Malloy (Republican Party) was a member of the Ada County Board of Commissioners in Idaho, representing District 2. Malloy assumed office in 2020. Malloy left office on January 11, 2021.
Malloy (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Ada County Board of Commissioners to represent District 2 in Idaho. Malloy did not appear on the ballot for the Republican primary on June 2, 2020.
Malloy was appointed to the Ada County Board of Commissioners by Governor Brad Little in April 2020 to replace Rick Visser. Malloy withdrew from the race for the District 2 commission seat prior to learning of his appointment.[1]
Malloy was a 2012 Republican candidate for District 20B of the Idaho House of Representatives.
Biography
Malloy's professional experience includes working in broadcasting and media support for Salem Communications and the Alliance Defending Freedom, a constitutional law firm. Malloy filled in briefly as a substitute legislator for Shirley McKague during her leave of absence from the Idaho State Senate in 2013.[2]

Malloy ran in the 2012 election for Idaho House of Representatives District 20B. He lost against James Holtzclaw and Thomas Jay LeClaire in the Republican primary on May 15, 2012. No candidates filed to run in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
