I moved to Colorado Springs when I was 9 years old and have lived here ever since. I graduated from Coronado High School, then attended Pikes Peak State College for two years (Community College when I attended), did a little landscaping, and now I work at the Broadmoor Hotel and have been there for more then 10 years. I grew up in Pinion Valley, then I lived off of Airport and Murray for a few years, moved up to Stetson Hills for a little bit and now I've been in Stratmoor Hills for about four years now. Colorado Springs is my home, I grew up here, met my wife here (who immigrated from the Czech Republic), I’m raising my children here, I am beyond being vested in Colorado, this community and this State is quite literally my family’s future. I am probably the most regular guy that you will see on the ballot and I am here to actually represent the people of Colorado.
  • Affordability - we need to end useless bureaucracy and overregulation so that we are able to lower the costs of doing business in this state. We need to streamline the supply chain and transportation throughout the state to lower the cost of goods.
  • Public safety - unfortunately Colorado is at the point where we need to implement the "broken window policy" to clean up the streets. We need to require our prosecutors to actually prosecute criminals and give the the tools to do so.
  • Working class job creation - we need to modernize Colorado's freight rail and encourage drone/animatronics manufacturing and only offer incentives to employers who hire from within the state first.
Firearm rights - ensuring that at risk adults and women can properly defend themselves.
Welfare - helping struggling families and single parents get the tools to get themselves out of their situation.
Theodore Roosevelt for his love of nature and parks and his general formidable character.
The first historical even I remember was the Bill Clinton impeachment. I was 7 years old at the time.
I do not believe a representative needs any political experience, their job is to represent their community and be a representation of them.
Yes and no. It's always good to have a good working relationship with your coworkers but being said, you should sponsor a bill based on the contents of the bill and if it is beneficial for your constituents and not because it was written/sponsored by your friend.
A bill to start the process to modernize Colorado's rail system and require all the jobs to be filled by residents.
I believe the government needs to be completely transparent on everything they do, every cent needs to be accounted for, every meeting needs to be logged, every lobby group and lobbyist need to be publicly named.
