Patrick Pirtle (Republican Party) was a judge for Place 3 of the Texas Seventh District Court of Appeals. He assumed office in 2006. He left office in 2022.

Pirtle (Republican Party) ran for re-election for the Place 3 judge of the Texas Seventh District Court of Appeals. He won in the general election on November 6, 2018.

Education

Justice Pirtle received his bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University in 1974 and his J.D. from Texas Tech School of Law in 1977.[1]

Career

Justice Pirtle worked in the private practice at Sell & Griffin from 1977 to 1981, then at Sell, Griffin & Pirtle from 1981 to 1985. He later worked at Nickum & Pirtle from 1985 to 1987, then at Whittenburg, Whittenburg & Schachter in 1988. Leaving private practice for the bench, Justice Pirtle was a district judge for the 251st judicial district. He took the bench on the Seventh District Court of Appeals in 2006.[1]
