Patrick Pizzella
Patrick Pizzella is the former acting secretary of labor. President Donald Trump (R) announced on July 12, 2019, that Pizzella would assume the role of acting secretary of labor following the resignation of Secretary of Labor R. Alexander Acosta effective July 19, 2019.[1][2] He resigned when Eugene Scalia replaced him as the permanent secretary of labor.[3]
Pizzella previously served as deputy secretary of labor.[4]
