Patrick Scully
Patrick Scully is a member of the Maine Public Utilities Commission. He assumed office on June 8, 2021. His current term ends on March 31, 2027.
Scully (independent) ran for election to the Maine House of Representatives to represent District 68. He lost in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Biography
Scully received a B.A. in biology and environmental studies from Dartmouth College and a J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law.[1]
Prior to joining the public utilities commission, Scully worked at the law firm Bernstein Shur from 1984 to 2020. He was CEO of the firm from 2014 to 2020.[1]
Political career
Maine Public Utilities Commission (2021-Present)
Scully was appointed to the Maine Public Utilities Commission by Gov. Janet Mills (D) in May 2021, to replace former commissioner Bruce Williamson, whose term expired in March 2021. The Maine State Senate voted to confirm Scully to the commission on June 8, 2021, and he was sworn in the same day.[2]
