Sheehan (Republican Party) ran for re-election to the Illinois House of Representatives to represent District 37. He won in the general election on November 5, 2024.
The Republican Party of Illinois appointed Sheehan to the Illinois House of Representatives District 37 on April 12, 2024, to replace Tim Ozinga. [1]
Biography
Patrick Sheehan was born in Chicago, Illinois. Sheehan graduated from Christ the King Catholic School. His career experience includes working as a law enforcement officer with the Plainfield Police Department. Sheehan has been affiliated with the Lockport Jr Porters Football program, the Cheer program, and the Lockport Soccer Club.[2]

The 37th Republican Representative District Committee chose Patrick Sheehan as the party's nominee to replace Tim Ozinga in the general election. Ozinga resigned from his seat in the state legislature and withdrew from the 2024 race, and Sheehan was appointed to replace him in the chamber and the race.[3]
