Stefano's campaign website highlighted the following issues:[4]
Our Jobs | Our Workers
- Excerpt: "He will work to ensure laid-off or displaced workers have effective retraining programs so they are able to support their families. He will support effective career education training to get more Pennsylvanians back to work in skilled jobs that are available now. Pat will never support corporate welfare or giveaways."
Protecting Taxpayers
- Excerpt: "As State Senator, he’ll prioritize spending and eliminate waste to hold the line on taxes. He thinks government must do more with less so local working families are able to keep more of their hard earned money. Pat will only support real balanced budgets to bring fiscal sanity to the budget process in Harrisburg."
Eliminate Outdated Programs
- Excerpt: "Pat will do what he has done as a small businessman and while serving as a local water and sewer authority Board Member: review the budget line-by-line to see what works, what doesn’t and what can be eliminated."
Stop Spending Money We Don’t Have
- Excerpt: "Pat will go to Harrisburg with an eye toward finding savings we know exists in the Commonwealth’s $29 billion plus budget."
Reform State Government
- Excerpt: "Pat is not a politician. As our State Senator, he will live like we do and will put your interests first."

Scorecards
A scorecard evaluates a legislator’s voting record. Its purpose is to inform voters about the legislator’s political positions. Because scorecards have varying purposes and methodologies, each report should be considered on its own merits. For example, an advocacy group’s scorecard may assess a legislator’s voting record on one issue while a state newspaper’s scorecard may evaluate the voting record in its entirety.
Ballotpedia is in the process of developing an encyclopedic list of published scorecards. Some states have a limited number of available scorecards or scorecards produced only by select groups. It is Ballotpedia’s goal to incorporate all available scorecards regardless of ideology or number.
Click here for an overview of legislative scorecards in all 50 states. To contribute to the list of scorecards, email suggestions to editor@ballotpedia.org.
