Patrick Taggart was a circuit court judge for the Sauk County Circuit Court, Branch 1 in Wisconsin.[1] He was appointed to the court by former Governor Tommy Thompson in 1993, was elected to the court in 1994, and was re-elected in 2000, 2006, and 2012.[2] Taggert retired from the bench on March 20, 2015.[3]

Education

Taggart received his undergraduate degree from Marquette University and J.D. from the Marquette University Law School in 1972.[2][4]

Career

Before he became a judge for the Sauk County Circuit Court, Taggert worked as an attorney in private practice from 1972 to 1993.[2]

Elections

2012

Taggart ran unopposed and was re-elected to the Sauk County Circuit Court, Branch 1.[5]
