I am Patrizia Zucaro. I am a Westport native and a graduate of Staples High School. I attended the University of Connecticut and received my BA. After graduating from UCONN, I began my professional career in real estate development. After about a decade in real estate development, I enrolled in Pace University Law School while working full-time. I graduated with my JD in 2012. I am admitted to practice law in both Connecticut and New York. I decided to run for state representative of the 143rd because I believe it is important to protect and serve our community. I want Connecticut to thrive. I am committed to making Connecticut a place where every single resident can enjoy opportunity, quality of life, and success, in an atmosphere of mutual respect. I will fight every day for Norwalk, Westport, and Wilton.
  • Public Safety: I support putting politics aside and addressing our health and safety concerns with fairness and transparency.
  • Local Control: I support local autonomy where local communities can make decisions on their own without state mandates for issues like Education, Zoning or Environmental..
  • Economy & State Budget: Advocating for sound solutions to Connecticut's distressed economy, budget and unfunded pension liabilities, such as, addressing our runaway spending problem, aiding struggling business by reducing the cost to do business, and allocating proper funding for our pension obligations.
I am passionate about finding the right solutions for issues that impact our daily life. I believe that it is important to work in a bi-partisan manner to reach sound resolutions. Connecticut needs change. For 40 years, the majority party in the legislature has been more focused on special interests and imposing policies developed on the national level, instead of doing the hard work at home to develop specific policies to address Connecticut's issues. I've lived here my whole life, and this really matters to me. I'm committed to ushering in the change Connecticut deserves.
