I work full time

I buy gas and groceries I pay the increasing utility bills I vote I am a ¨real¨ person not a politician I pay a mortgage bill I pay my student loans I am an only parent to 2 boys (I adopted my boys on my own. My oldest is from Mongolia and my youngest is from China) I am a dog mom to 2 rescue Boston Terriers …and I love to laugh!

I was born in Kenosha, WI and grew up in Waukesha, WI.

I graduated from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design with a B.F.A. in Sculpture. After adopting my first son, I returned to school earning an M.B.A. from Mount Mary University. I took 36 straight classes and graduated with a 4.0 GPA. It was here I found my passion for Improving Processes, Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement. After graduating, I adopted my second son.

I now work full time doing what I love to do, improve processes, for a fortune 500 company in Milwaukee, WI. I went on to become my company’s first ever female LEAN Six Sigma Master Black Belt (MBB) and am now 1 out 7 certified MBB for my company world wide. If elected, I will continue to work my full-time position while representing District 13 in the State Assembly position.
  • The August 13th, 2024 primary, isn’t about which Republican candidate is better. It is about which Republican candidate can win in November against the ¨fiercely progressive¨ opponent. This is a fight to stop the far left progressive agenda that is preventing your voice from being heard, hurting our communities, and most of all the progressive agenda is hurting our families.
  • The residents of District 13 are in need of a representative who truly listens to their diverse interests. I too have diverse interests as a yoga practitioner (when I have time), vegetarian, supporter of the performing & visual arts, enthusiast of live music, local shopper, dinner, & vacationer, yard work lover, comedy improvisational class taker, GB Packer fan, dedicated parent, and so more. I am creative yet analytical. I draw out risk in what I do and see. Hands up if your grocery list follows the isles of the only grocery store you shop at. (Seriously, mine does!) I have supported the Republican party my entire life. Yet, I question things when they don´t seem right. I have always been open to conversations with alternative view points.
  • I do not have any endorsements. This ensures I can prioritize the genuine needs of District 13, providing attentive and unbiased support to most constituents. While we might not agree on everything, I am confident in my ability to listen to varied concerns of our community.
I know we can ALL agree on wanting 1.) Better Schools 2.) Lower Crime, 3.) Safe & Prosperous Communities for Our Families 4.)Job Growth & Opportunities.

What I am personally passionate about is:
1.) Protecting Woman and Girl’s spaces - the far left progressive agenda message is that women’s rights, privacy, dignity, feelings and safety do not matter. What does seem to matter to them however, are the feelings and experiences of men who decide that they are women and are now integrating themselves into female spaces. These men / boys do not belong in the female sphere. In women, real women spheres.

2.) Protecting our Daughters and Title IX
I have two people in my life that I look up to outside of family members.

1.) my high school art teacher
2.) my art school sculpting teacher

Both influenced me to see the talents and potentials that I have.
I have diverse interests

I am creative
I am analytical
I draw out risk in almost everything
I do not have any endorsements

I can find humor in life
While we are not going to agree on everything, we need to get back to having conversations and sharing ideas with each other.

It is OK to have difficult conversations with each other.

We need to be able to question things when they don’t seem right. We need to have and listen to conversations with alternative view points from our own.
Just the fact that I made it! I am the first person in my family to run for office and I have a degree in sculpture coupled with a MBA. Wouldn’t that be something representing District 13 with my background.
At the moment, I am taking running for office 1 step at a time and I am learning so much and enjoying the process along the way.
1.) Vaguely remember the Bicentennial. I think I was in 3rd Grade.
2.) The space shuttle blowing up with the teacher on board. That was 1986, I think. I was in High School in my Drawing II class when it happened.
My first job was babysitting.

But I’ve had 3 favorite jobs in my life.
1.) Walgreens - I worked there through high school and into art school
2.) Slinging boxes 3rd shift at UPS

3.) My current job - It will be 6 years in August 2024
Seriously? You Tube has killed my reading.
However, since You Tube, I’ve been learning a lot of new things!
Ana NG - They Might Be Giants
(Only because I just saw them live in concert)
1.) I am a terrible speller. Always have been, always will be. I know my spelling preventing me from going in different directions when I was younger.

2.) Hereditary depression. This is nothing to fool around with.
It was struggle of ups and downs until I finally got the help needed.

For anyone suffering, please know, there is help and it does get better.
Both should think about all Wisconsin citizens. Some are Republicans, some are Democrats, and some are Independents. Both the Governor and the State Legislature should govern for the state not just their party.
1.) Cybersecurity attacks on our infrastructure and utilities putting us without power or water. Or even small businesses without access to their internet.
2.) And of course raising taxes… as usual
Yes.
In my current role for my company, building relationships is critical for the success of the large improvement projects I work on. I work for a global company and I need to know how to work with and bring together different types of personalities & cultures. Especially when we have difficult conversations. Relationship building is key.
As I was collecting signatures, a man told me a story on how he was jumped and robbed at the cemetery in broad day light. He was visiting his mom and dad’s graves. The robbers first beat him to the ground, took his phone and car keys & then stole his car. They left him laying there alone. I felt so bad him. He said he is afraid to go to the cemetery now.
So I think we can all agree on Lowing Crime.
Go read the question “Which Bill would I introduce first ;-)”
The word “emergency” needs to be defined in more detail before this question can be answered.
I have 4 Bills I would like to introduce.

1.) Shatner
2.) Idol
3.) Murray
4.) Moving out of the Chicagoland area to retired to Wisconsin, and finally becoming an avid Packer super fan, all the way from Rhinelander area….

Bill Swerski
There should be financial transparency and government accountability. The government is spending other people’s money, ie, the tax payer’s money.
