I’m running for Mayor with experience, as a mom, as an educator, an advocate, and a two-term state representative, because it’s time to fix what’s broken in our city. When I was elected to represent Bowling Green in 2018, I worked with Governor Beshear, Democrats, and Republicans to lower the cost of insulin, pass tornado relief and recovery bills, deliver federal dollars for the Bowling Green veterans center, and I personally secured 3.5 millions dollars for Bowling Green’s roads. Our city is growing but too many of our people feel left out and left behind. As your next Mayor, I will lead by listening and learning from you. I’ll be transparent and make sure you know what your mayor is doing for you and for our city. I will stand up and show up for you every day, like I always have.

A mayor should lift people up and make sure no one is left behind. It’s about leading by listening. I believe a mayor should ensure that growth benefits everyone, not just a few, and work to create a city where everyone feels safe, valued, and heard. As the next mayor of Bowling Green, I’ll promote smart growth, fight discrimination, and lead with love. I’ll always stand up and show up for the people of Bowling Green, making decisions that promote smart growth and strengthen our community for the future.
As the next mayor of Bowling Green, my top priority will be ensuring that the voices of the people are heard and reflected in the city's policies and growth.
Bowling Green is my home; it’s where I raised my family. While we have made progress, there’s much more we can do to ensure that every resident feels seen and heard. Our city is filled with potential and I’m ready to work together with our community to address the challenges we face.
The city of Bowling Green is expected to double in population in the next 25-50 years and our greatest challenge will be managing growth effectively. I’m advocating for smart growth instead of unplanned development. As our city continues to expand rapidly, it’s crucial that we ensure this growth benefits all residents, not just a select few.
During my time in the state legislature, I worked with Governor Beshear, Democrats, and Republicans to lower the cost of insulin, pass tornado recovery bills, deliver federal dollars for the Bowling Green Veterans Center, and personally secure $3.5 million for Bowling Green’s roads. As mayor, I will continue to foster this collaborative relationship, working with state government to advocate for our city’s interests and secure funding and support for critical projects.
As mayor, I would continue to build strong ties to secure federal funding for local projects, just as I did after the 2021 tornado, when we worked to obtain ARPA funds for recovery efforts. These kinds of partnerships are crucial for addressing our city’s needs, and by leveraging federal resources, we can help Bowling Green grow and thrive, especially in times of crisis.
As a state representative, I consistently advocated for law enforcement by supporting salary increases, mental health leave, and pension protections. I worked to pass legislation that benefits officers and ensures they have the resources they need to effectively serve our community. As mayor, I will continue this commitment, ensuring that law enforcement receives the support and resources necessary for their important work, while also promoting transparency and accountability to strengthen trust between the police and our community.
Bowling Green deserves a leader who will stand up and show up for the people. That's what I have always done and what I'll continue to do as your next mayor.
