Paul B. Ahlers
Paul B. Ahlers is a judge of the Iowa Court of Appeals. He assumed office on December 25, 2019. His current term ends on January 1, 2029.
Ahlers ran for re-election for judge of the Iowa Court of Appeals. He won in the retention election on November 8, 2022.
Ahlers was appointed by Gov. Kim Reynolds (R) on November 27, 2019, to succeed Amanda Potterfield.[1]
Ahlers was an associate judge of District 2B in Iowa from 2011 to 2019. He was appointed to this position in March 2011.[2]
Education
Ahlers received his undergraduate degree from Iowa State University in 1991 and his J.D. from the University of Iowa in 1994.[2]
