Paul Beardslee is a judge of the 10th District Court in Michigan. He was appointed by Gov. Rick Snyder (R) on March 9, 2016, to replace John A. Hallacy after his appointment as circuit court judge.[1] Beardslee won the general election on November 8, 2016.

Beardslee was the city attorney for Marshall, Mich., prior to his appointment. He previously served on Marshall's city council and school board.[1]

Judges of the Michigan District Courts are each elected to six-year terms.[4] The elections for this court are nonpartisan contested elections. To serve on this court, a judge must be a qualified elector of the district, licensed to practice law in the state, under the age of 70, and have five years of experience practicing law.
